Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic is a Department of the Navy organization and reports directly to the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) located in San Diego, California. We employ engineers, IT specialists, computer and data scientists and a myriad of business and administrative professionals committed to supporting the warfighter and the nation.

Paths to Federal Employment

Eligibility

U.S. Citizenship required. Background check is required for all jobs (minimum age is 16). A security clearance may be required (minimum age is 18).

What We're Looking For

We are looking for electronics engineers, computer engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians and IT specialists who possess advanced skills and experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, cloud computing, big data, data science, machine learning/artificial intelligence, RF communications, networks, mobile applications and enterprise systems. We are also looking for Business Financial Managers, Contract Specialists, Logisticians and Program Managers (related degrees: accounting, business, finance, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering and supply chain management).
