THE POSITION

We are looking for Electrical Engineers, Computer Engineers, Computer Scientists, Mathematicians, and IT Specialists who possess advanced skills and experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, cloud computing, big data, data science, machine learning/artificial intelligence, RF communications, networks, mobile applications and enterprise systems.  As part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for solving technical problems to address critical needs for the U.S. Navy and to ensure that capabilities address current and future operational challenges.

The System of Systems Engineering (SoSE) Competency integrates independent systems to meet operational needs. Our personnel work world-wide and focus on a wide range of areas: (1) Analyzing mission readiness to meet future naval capabilities, (2) integrating systems for expeditionary vehicles and navy ships, (3) joint and naval command and control operations centers, (4) air traffic control centers, (5) industrial controls, and (6) electronic security systems. The SoSE Competency seeks to enhance skills focused on an interdisciplinary understanding of emerging digital engineering methodologies and technologies while balancing operational and technical inter-dependencies.

The Software Engineering Competency is looking for students with Computer Science degrees who possess skills and experience with software engineering. You will be for various aspects of software engineering ranging from applications and software services development, to software integration, to assessing computing infrastructure. The Communications and Networks Competency conducts scientific and engineering activities associated with development, test, evaluation, fielding, and sustainment of assured communications and networking capabilities for the maritime, joint, national, and coalition environments. The networking areas specialize in network architectures, advanced network technologies, local area networks (wired/wireless), wide area networks, network services, mobile networks, network management, and monitoring and control for network systems for wireless and wireline technologies.

The Data Science & Analytics Engineering Competency is looking for New Professionals and Student Interns to help Revolutionize Naval Decision-Making. We build the future through the rapid delivery of disruptive capabilities that are analyticsdriven, data-informed, and technology-empowered. Our engineering solutions are centered on the cognitive overmatch capabilities of a human-machine team.

The Cybersecurity and Test & Evaluation Competency is looking for experienced and new professionals, as well as student interns, to help ensure next generation cyber capabilities delivered to the warfighters provide the functionality and the security needed to execute the mission. You will have an opportunity to be engaged in hands on efforts, engineering and testing systems that impact the Navy and the Nation! Help us fight hackers who are trying to stop our Marine Corps and Navy from defending the nation.

The Lifecycle Logistics and Engineering Competency (L&LE) is looking for those with degrees in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain Management and Business to support L&LE processes and techniques for U.S. Navy Information Technology (IT) systems. You will be responsible for performing acquisition, production, installation, sustainment, logistics and quality support tasks associated with projects related to design, testing, deployment and sustainment of U.S. Navy IT systems worldwide.

Science & Technology Competency is looking for engineers and scientists to support advanced research and development in the areas of cyber, wireless and networked communications, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), autonomy, and sensing. Available opportunities include fulltime positions for qualified individuals with degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, and applied mathematics, as well as internships for students in their sophomore, junior, and graduate years.
