The Cyber ANTX is an unprecedented opportunity for technology developers to demonstrate their innovations in the cyber domain of a real-time, operational scenario alongside Sailors and Marines.
NIWC Atlantic has the lead for all planning and execution of the Cyber ANTX, an exercise sponsored by U.S. Fleet Cyber Command, Marine Forces Cyber Command and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR).
The concept for a Cyber ANTX was born of a campaign to identify technologies and develop tactics, techniques and procedures that provide ashore support to afloat defensive cyber operations (DCO). One aspect of this campaign is to gain insights into best DCO practices by enabling a highly-skilled ashore team to “quarterback” incident response on several ships at once. By integrating multi-domain maneuvers with cyber operations, the exercise will help better inform and empower “local cyber defenders” before, during and after incident.
To date, the Cyber ANTX team has received a total of 29 official proposals from organizations representing government, industry and academia. Participants’ technologies will be evaluated based on the capability that they bring to the “local defender” in the afloat environment.
RSVP for Military / Government / Contractor personnel only.
