NIWC Atlantic Executive Director Throws First Pitch at Charleston RiverDogs Game

Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Executive Director Peter Reddy attended the Charleston RiverDogs baseball game to throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the military appreciation night Sept. 2 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Reddy was joined by Commander 628th Air Base Wing Joint Base Charleston Colonel Michael Freeman who also tossed a pitch to kick off the RiverDogs’ third and final military-focused game of the 2023 season.

Dozens of NIWC Atlantic current and former military employees and their families attended the special event to support Reddy and the RiverDogs. The game had the highest military and Veteran attendance on record for the team and was the last game of the regular season. The RiverDogs now move into the playoffs, seeking a third Carolina League championship in as many years.
