NIWC Atlantic hosted an event to honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 15, 2020. The same day as his birthday. South Carolina Representative Dist. 111 (D) Wendell Gilliard, gave a speech about the importance of Dr. King’s words today. Mr. Richard Bumpers recited Dr. King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech to a captivated crowd who responded with booming applause.
