NIWC Atlantic just signed an Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) with South Carolina State University (SCSU) to encourage and enhance the school’s academic programs in STEM fields and disciplines. Through the efforts of NIWC Atlantic’s Palmetto Tech Bridge, this is the third HBCU in South Carolina—after Benedict College and Morris College—to sign an EPA with the command in just the last year.

Located in Orangeburg, SCSU was founded in 1896 as a land grant college to educate and serve the people of South Carolina.   

The EPA can serve the dual purpose of both supporting SCSU students seeking enhanced academic STEM learning while also furthering the command’s workforce development efforts advancing a world-class, cyber-strong workforce in the State of South Carolina that supports NIWC Atlantic’s mission of winning the information war.
