NIWC Pacific held a Cyber Resilient Systems ANTX at NIWC Atlantic's National Cyber Range Complex. Acalvio and Mission First Cyber won $100,000 and $50,000 respectively for their cyber defense tools. Five companies, selected from 14 proposals, competed alongside three government solutions. The event fostered collaboration between government, industry, and academia, aiming to transition promising technologies into active use for the Navy.

A recent study highlights the significant economic impact of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, contributing $10 billion to the U.S. and $2.1 billion to South Carolina. This includes supporting 41,419 jobs nationally and generating $3.8 billion in labor income. NIWC Atlantic is a major employer, particularly in cybersecurity and engineering, with wages significantly above the state average.

The NIWC Atlantic team successfully migrated 9,000+ Yokosuka users to a new call manager system, overcoming schedule changes and a 13-hour time difference. Led by LaManual McKinney, the team's dedication and problem-solving ensured uninterrupted communication and enhanced security for the region.
