NIWC Atlantic Signs Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) with Morris College
NIWC Atlantic just signed an Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) with Morris College to encourage and enhance studies in cyber and related scientific disciplines. Cyber-focused staff and faculty from Morris College, an HBCU located in Sumter, S.C., recently toured the command’s cyber labs to find out more about the command’s mission and see what ways both organizations could further partner. Through the efforts of NIWC Atlantic’s Palmetto Tech Bridge, this is the second HBCU in South Carolina to sign an EPA with NIWC Atlantic in the last year. Benedict College signed one previously; South Carolina State University is close to signing a third one. The EPA cay serve the dual purpose of both supporting Morris students seeking enhanced STEM learning while also furthering the command’s workforce development efforts and cyber workforce of the future.
