NIWC Atlantic Team Develops Next-Generation Mobile ATC Towers
Engineer Beka Deason, a member of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Air Traffic Control (ATC) Special Programs team, inspects the coaxial cables of a new, medium mobile ATC tower the team is developing to be rapidly deployed to airfields during emergencies due to inclement weather, equipment failure or other disruptions.
