The Testing Lifecycle of Electronics at NIWC Atlantic: Environmental Test and Evaluation Facility
240521-N-GB257-2002 N. Charleston, SC (May 21, 2024) Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic employees David Doyle (l), electrical engineer and Matt Paturzo (r), mechanical engineer, prepare and set up various equipment for environmental testing at NIWC Atlantic’s Environmental Test and Evaluation lab. The team places a transit/storage case inside an environmental test chamber to undergo a heat and humidity test. This test is designed to ensure that the equipment can withstand even the harshest conditions, providing unfailing support to Sailors and Marines when it is needed most.
