ED visit to MATB in Norfolk
NIWC Atlantic Executive Director Peter C. Reddy speaks alongside other senior naval leaders during the NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge (MATB)’s Naval Leadership Innovation Panel event in Norfolk on May 1. MATB held the event so that attendees from government, industry and academia could hear from leaders representing many corners of the U.S. Naval Research Enterprise as they discussed their perspectives on innovation as it relates to technology research and development topics relevant to the warfighter. In addition to Mr. Reddy, audience members heard from Dr. Marty Irvine, Naval Surface and Undersea Warfare Centers executive director; Dale Sisson, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division technical director; Larry Tarasek, NSWC Carderock Division technical director; Nigel Thijs, NSWC Philadelphia Division technical director; and Carmelo Fontan, NSWC chief technology officer.
